Effective date: October 14, 2026
These terms apply to Ethio Amharic Keyboard (the "app"): the iPhone and iPad app with its keyboard extension, and the Mac input method with its setup app. By installing or using the app you agree to them. For the iPhone and iPad app they are in addition to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.
Using the app
You may use the app for lawful personal and commercial typing. You are responsible for reviewing the text you write before you send or publish it.
Suggestions and autocorrect
Word suggestions, conversions from English letters to Amharic, and autocorrections are provided for convenience. They may be incomplete or wrong, so please check them before relying on them.
Ownership
The app, its software, design and branding are owned by Henok Tasissa. These terms do not give you the right to copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
Availability and changes
Features, dictionaries and themes may change as the app is updated. The app may be changed or discontinued, in whole or in part, when reasonably necessary.
No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. There is no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Apple
For the iPhone and iPad app, these terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or for providing maintenance or support for it.
Mac software
The Mac software is licensed to you, not sold, for use on Macs that you own or control. It is distributed as a download outside the Mac App Store. Updates are installed by you; the app does not update itself or contact any server.
